The friendly staff always adds to the experience, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels like family. Many note how accommodating the service is, making each visit pleasurable. Plus, the small outdoor seating offers a lovely spot to savor the meal when the weather permits.
Most Disliked
Some diners mention that the cafe can get crowded, especially during peak lunch hours, which might lead to longer wait times. This high traffic can sometimes detract from the relaxed experience that many seek when eating out.
Additionally, a few patrons hope for a wider selection on the menu, especially for those who may want more fusion offerings or innovative dishes beyond the traditional staples. Although the cafe excels in delivering authentic flavors, there are occasional whispers for diversity in choosing vegetarian or gluten-free options.

Only two bites in and this is a winner! First time trying them and I look forward to many more visits...robust flavors and fair portions. In fact this may be the most flavorful Mexican food anywhere around. I'm excited to explore more of the menu and the rest of the meat options. Highly recommend giving them a shot!

The best street taco I've had in Idaho Falls. The meat was moist and flavorful and lots of it. The tortilla was crispy. And the green salsa was chunky, not just liquid like all the other trucks.

I have been coming to Diaz Café for over a year now. One of my favorite stops for authentic Mexican street food. I use to live in Mexico and the food is perfectly authentic. The sopes are my favorite with a hot cup of Atole.

Stopped by to get an atole, tamale, and agua de horchata before work today. I love a warm drink on cold days and grabbed horchata for later. They have the beeper things so I didn’t have to guess if my food was ready or not. It made to so easy! Next time I’ll call my order in and pick it up. They also have some tables outside to eat on warmer days. They are so friendly and the food was delicious!!

Apparently their food is really good because they were sold out of a couple of things. We went for carne asada tacos, which were yummy. Also got cantaloupe aguas frescas which was amazing, tastes just like cantaloupe! Also, the prices for most of their stuff look really reasonable.
